Clearly, Skip doesn’t live where I do—firing off fireworks is basically illegal until about the week of the 4th of July, and even then, you can only do certain kinds of fireworks, especially within city limits (which means very few Roman candles…not that people don’t still try and do it anyway, but that’s neither here nor there).
