My mother once asked, “Do you want to be the smartest kid in the dumb row, or the dumbest kid in the smart row”? Still mulling that one over.
For me, school was a period of discovery about the world and how best to interact with it. It wasn’t hard, just a bit mundane. You adapt and overcome the shortfalls.
