Wonder what flavor Rover has.

So true. This happened to me just recently – I got a Pistachio ice cream on a sweltering day, then fought a losing battle to eat the cone faster than it could melt! Got all over my arms.

There’s nothing like popsicles and pupsicles!

Close that freezer door! What are you trying to do cool off the neighborhood?

Summers in NH, we’d come in and rummage thru the freezer for popsicles and ice cream. My Grandmother would come storming in the kitchen yelling " you mussent do that, close that ice box door"! I’d say, “I don’t see an ice box in here”. Off by the ear I went!

I can totally relate to this.

LOL! Love the bare feet. Reminds me of my youth…,all the gang would go shoeless all summer….

We did not have frost free back then. I hated when our chore was to defrost the freezer manually.

I remember an article from an old LIFE magazine, back in the early 50’s I think, a school had a contest to see which boy would come to school barefoot the longest after school started. the prize was a silver dollar or something.
