I hear science has demonstrated that conservatives have oversized (overexercised?) areas of the brain responsible for fear and hate. So they will be bigots their entire lives. It’s best just to put them down now.
Fear and hate don’t seem to be confined to Republicans according to your comment C.A.B. Why is it that the “party of inclusion” is so exclusive? I don’t much care for Republicans, but they’re no worse than so many of the Democrats I meet.
