As a long haul trucker, I can tell you the best and worst coffees are at one truck stop or another. If the staff really does care, you can get the best coffee at the big chains.
Don’t particularly care for Starbucks, either, too strong for my taste. I do, however, like McDonalds coffee. It’s the only thing I do like at McDonalds. That and their french fries!
Not a bad idea, having a coffee machine in a pub! What’s wrong with that? By the way, I buy Starbucks Coffee and grind my own at home. You have to brew it a bit more conservatively than with regular coffee; otherwise it will be too strong. It is great coffee.

Funny, as a non-drinker I’ve ordered coffee at many a bar, often coffee that was made that same day.

I’ve tasted worse coffeee than Morebucks at a place that had a clown outside. Should have known - scary clown, scary coffee.

Worst coffee I ever had was at a truck stop on I95 on the NC/SC border. Gave bar coffee a run for its money.
