I won’t be able to complete my comic tour this morning. I have to take LilG’s car in to have some service done and it needs to be there in 55 minutes.

Service on LilG’s car? What? you must have all of 300 miles on it????

JFri when she bought the car they told her that not only did it have a camera that displayed what was behind her vehicle when she was backing up but it had a beeper that would go off if an object was within 6 feet of the back of the car. It did not in fact have this and she told them that this was part of what sold her on the car. They tried to argue, but you don’t argue with** LilG and hope to come out smelling like a rose. She said that she had not rated the dealership yet, which KIA asks for and they had better do something if they expected her to say that she was satisfied. So they are installing an aftermarket alarm today at their expense.

LilG bought a car from Costco? I’m confused! (So what else is new, huh?)

Sure feels GREAT to have the windows open again, and to be wearing shorts! Yes sir ree bob!

Costco has a plan with many car dealers who give a price that is less than one can usually get by “negotiating.” Both she and I have bought cars this way. It mean you don’t have to dicker.

I have a feeling sometime in the next few days I am going to be without a computer for awhile. A couple of weeks ago, I would get up in the morning and click the mouse to wake the computer up. Instead the light would stop blinking and it would just freeze and not do anything. I turned the surge protector off and then on again and I could get the computer to work that way, now if I step away from the computer for an hour or so, the same thing happens.

Our desktop is having similar issues. And the fan inside the tower is overheating so there’s a floor fan running behind the tower when the computer is on. Took the tower top off and cleaned in there real good, it doesn’t freeze up as much but it still does. I think we need a new fan. Once it’s running, the desktop works okay. And YOU’LL HAVE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT, MISTER! YOU AREN’T ALLOWED TO GO AWOL!

I may occasionally get to use my wife’s, but she is on it a lot and takes it with her to work.

Well that bites! :-(

yes and it just did it again and my last post was 33 minutes ago, so I will probably have to take it in tomorrow.

I’ve said it before and I will say it one more time….REPLACE THE SURGE ARRESTER!!! It may be a MUCH cheaper fix to the problem.

cleo, is there something you need to tell us?

I have plugged my computer into another surge protector and we shall see if that has any effect.

And yes, my name is written on walls all over the world. That one was from eclipse tour where I visited Egypt in 2006.

Changing surge protectors did not help a bit, so I will pop in tomorrow morning and then haul the old computer in to Apple.

SEE IF THEY HAVE A LOANER, Geez man, what will I do without my cleo fix each day? :-(
