I always wondered about who exactly we were saving that electricity for? Living just a few miles from Niagara Falls, which is one of the largest Hydro-electricity producers on the planet, there is practically an endless supply. Oh I remember now! We’re saving it to sell to the U.S.
Well Hugh, the “greatest country in the history of the universe” (semi-polite yawn) would probably just take it anyway. Simply by existing the USA deserves to have everything. You’ll get some scraps.

I recently read about a power company that wanted to “disconnect” revenues from usage. That’s a fancy way of saying that if you cut down on your personal usage, You know, to save money, you’re still going to pay the same amount because the power company is guaranteed a certain amount of revenue.
