    The candy cigarettes trained kids for the real ones. They were made by the same people that made the tobacco cigarettes.

    I wonder if you can actually blow “smoke rings” with these. I certainly haven’t seen anyone with these do that.

    Yes, those were interesting times. Don’t forget “Big League Chew” which was shredded bubble-gum and looked like chewing tobacco!

    i loved them. they did not train kids to smoke. TV commercials, our parents, movie stars and others made it look glamorous and sophisticated.

    Candy cigarettes and bubble gum cigars were Halloween staples when I was a kid.
