In my opinion, British Columbia has the only habitable climate in Canada. Many Canadians (I’m from Winnipeg) have moved here. When people point out that it’s always raining here (well, not exactly always, but a lot) we laugh maniacally and say, “You don’t have to shovel it.”
(Actually, it does snow here in Vancouver, maybe once a year or less. My apartment is on a hill—when it snows what for here counts as heavily, I look out the window, watch cars slide into the stop sign at the bottom of the hill, and stay indoors.)
