Another advantage of that ‘60 Chrysler – you CAN’T lock the key in the car! When you close the door, the lock automatically unlocks! You HAVE to lock the door with the key! Nobody else but Chrysler was smart enough to think of that!!!
Mentioning locking keys in the car, my Mom got so bad that after Dad changed the lock cylinder on one of the cars, he had me carry a set of keys for both cars in case Mom did it again. And there have been points where the extra sets were needed. (For reference, we both work at the same job.)
After 13 years, am I the only one who noticed that she LOST her keys, that they aren’t locked in the car (with the open door)? Of course I’m the finder of lost keys and cell phones around our house…

I leave my car keys in the center console of the car and my house is so old I don’t have any keys for it - pretty simple
