I remember someone asked me if I wanted and extended warranty plan that would cover parts and labor, for 3 years, on a washing machine. I said, “No. I have my own plan; if the washer craps out in less than 3 years, I don’t ever buy anything else from your company.”
Only ever had two, both with Staples, in US and Canada. Both Brother Printers. In the US I had to chase around Fairfax County and eventually got a replacement. In Canada walked into store, they took the old one and gave me a gift card to get a newer one at same price.
