The irrationality of many environmentalists: “Anything that humans do is bad. The planet would be better off without them” (except themselves, of course).
In my state they outlawed plastic bags and paper bags. But, if you do not have a bag, they charge you .05 cents a paper bag. Doesn’t make sense does it! That’s Maryland for you, run by democrats!
Giant Eagle in Cuyahoga county (Ohio) decided to go without plastic. They were charging 10¢ per paper bag I either shop in the next county or go to Giant Eagle with another store’s reusable bag. Now the paper bags are free.
If, the store was truly environmentally concerned, they would not be selling packaged stuff. Just open tubs of stuff where you would scoop out a handful of salad dressing.. or breakfast cereal.. shampoo. Bulk Barns come close to the concept but they err by providing bags.
i just don’t understand all the unhappy people in this country complaining about everything now even including plastic bag charges! if you are that unhappy with the way the country is being run, how about running for office and doing something about it!

If the store wasn’t so environmentally apathetic, they wouldn’t be offering Paper or Plastic.

Been using reuseable bags since the ‘80s, it really shouldn’t be that difficult for even MAGAts to handle but apparently it is.

She can’t make the decision “paper or plastic”. After all, baggers can’t be choosers.
