(Apartment 3-G) I just started reading this strip 2 or 3 days ago and have no idea what they’re talking about.
davidf42: The 3 ladies who live in Apt. 3-G are Lu Ann (the blonde) , Margo (the brunette), and Tommie (the redhead) Tommie’s Aunt Iris also plays a role, from time to time. Lu Ann has a blond BF, Paul. Margo has been seeing Trey Brooks (the younger guy in today’s strip), and Tommie was last seen with a new acquaintance–Ricky, the former “Boys on the Block” singer (he was driving her home). Margo has a gallery in a building that needs re-doing, and Trey is an architect. (the older guys, today & yesterday, are the owners of the firm Trey works for). We had been focusing on Margo & Trey, then jumped over to Iris & Tommie for while, and now we’re back with Trey. Hope this helps. See pics of all three ladies at the Lovely Ladies blog:

Well, seriously, that was my first impression. I at first thought it was a remote, which prompted my initial post. But when I saw that you interpreted it as a cell phone, I had second thoughts. Now I really do think it’s a cell phone and that she’s juggling two phone calls while the cannon goes off in the background.

The Foxtrots (is there last name just Fox?) have 3 growing children. They eat a lot, especially the teenage boy, Peter.
JP - Some tense moments, but I trust the Judge will talk her down.
Rex - He’s trying to be patient, but is thinking,” Oh, no! What next? Dex is such a blockhead.”
A3G - Two bosses - one seems easier to get along with, the other definitely doesn’t want to give any raises (yesterday’s strip).
MW - Liza doesn’t realize that Drew really just wants to “cool it”. Will he come right out and tell her?
