@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny our HERO Mr Andrew Capp wears his heart on his sleeve , he is willing to help the economy by adding more money on his tab, the look of Jack looking daggers at Andy is amusing :o) , my avatar is a photo of our Calico queen Bella’s dad , her aunt Puffin and mum Muffin , the ginger tom got both pregnant and both had 5 kittens each in our back garden ,Connie chose Bella and brought her upstairs ,but now she’ getting old and walking on three legs , we are taking her to a vet but if he/she tells us to put her to sleep or amputate her leg , we’ll refuse and bring her back home , how was your day? our day should be busy but calm I hope , aside from raining again, stay safe and BCNU if you feel like it pal

Andy’s definition of “liquidity” differs from what most people think it means.

We were fortunate that as a contracted school employee, I got my regular pay, and my wife was able to work from home. Throw in the stimulus, and the fact I could get unemployment for my summer job (Concert security- venue closed due to Covid-19) -which meant I also got the extra $600 per week and now $300 when they get around to it. PLUS, my son’s college issued two refunds because they switched to virtual. We also picked up gig work doing Instacart (I stopped when my unemployment kicked in) and made a bundle. So we’ve done our best to keep small restaurants and stores afloat by ordering food, etc. I gained 25 pounds as proof. If the Democrats ever get their heads out of their… clouds… and get a second stimulus passed, I’ll be even more flush! I thank God for the fact that we made out OK. I know a lot of people who didn’t.

I like to think I’m doing my part, in this regard, to stimulate the economy and support my local small business bar.
