That was my first thought when I saw the painting several decades ago. I was surprised by how small the painting is.

Reminds me of time time Dennis Hopper shot his Andy Warhol painting of Mao Tse-tung. Warhol considered him a collaborator. I’m sure it probably increased the value.

My understanding is that the museum is holding an exhibition for vampires to view new pieces while sipping a classy wine glass of premium hemoglobin.

Fun fact: La Gioconda is painted on wood, not canvas. Still not bulletproof, of course.
