    Happy morning Vagabonds

Starting out to be a fairly good day we currently have 47 predicted to be 54 and sunny. (^.^)

The stove is payed for and will get here Saturday or Monday (I hope for Saturday) because we can get the guy from the gas company in on Monday to hook it up. Fingers crossed.

Oh boy, I just saw an add for Cabot Cheddar Cheese and it’s making me hungry..

Now that, that diversion is out of the way, have a happy day and may God bless.

    Good Windy morning, Vagabonds.

It’s 40 right now, and will only climb to 45 during the ‘heat’ of the day. And the wind is blowing the smoke away. Hooray! Looks like a good amount of the fires are out. It’s so nice to go outside and be able to breathe.

Today was supposed to be our Walmart day. The covid-19 report yesterday was quite high. We’ll look at today’s report and see if it is wise to go out.

    Stay warm. xoxo

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Hey, I actually managed to get here before noon! (10:30) Progress!

I have decided to try to cut back on my computer time. I have been spending way too many hours a day glued to this screen. So I have dropped my Puzzle Society subscription (which will remain in effect until it runs out next year – no refunds allowed). Yesterday went through all the puzzles that I do on a regular basis and realized that I was bored with them. I was doing them because it was my “thing” to do every day. No more! I even took the site off my “bookmarks” list on Chrome. Next, I suppose is to trim down the number of comics I read every day. That will be much harder.

Our dresser got delivered yesterday while I was at the prayer meeting. It looks great in there, but smells of fresh varnish. It will dissipate eventually, but in the meantime…. We will order the matching chest of drawers today to finally replace the old “thrift store special” that we now use for linen storage.

Today should be a bit warmer than yesterday, but still in the low 90’s. Last night was the first night I got cold enough to use a blanket. It got down into the low 60’s. The AQI is holding in the green, except for Pahrump which is just over the hills from some of the fires. Like us they are in an enclosed valley and with no wind to blow it out, the smoke concentrates there.

Everyone be safe and have a blessed day.
