Mal’s never owned a house before. I can just see him stepping inside it and looking around, thinking how he has no idea what to do with it next.
Also, I liked how Wolfe had to whisper to him the amount of the paycheck—nice attention to detail. Though I don’t know why I expected anything less with this comic. :D
Knotty works fast to get this much information at the last minute. Then again, all his former “clients” did have very firm, ahem, deadlines for their cases to be resolved.
All jokes aside, this is why it is important to have good legal council. All the schooling teaches one where to look for the good stuff in the rules.
