There DOES seem to be indication that we will change policies and protocols considerably. Hope so. Read “The Looming Tower” by Lawrence Wright, good factual background on the countries and characters involved. Also a good example at the end that “interrogation” works, in distinct contrast to “torture”.
Dale, Revising history? We had more countries helping us in Iraq than we do in Afghanistan. I am happy/surprised that BHO is going to continue the job and that he praised the troops in Itaq for giving them a chance at democracy. I’m also surprised he is keeping the CIA stuff secret. Now we need to change is mind on spending and “one world government”.
For your consideration. A far right President Bush and a far left President Obama seem to be pursuing the same policy. Maybe if you disagree with both, you are wrong and they are right. I know the concept of your possibly being wrong was never entertained.
