A long time ago when we were house hunting we found a great place. But it had been lived in by smokers. You can’t get that stink out even if you change the carpets and drapes.

A true picture.. Will take a lot of scrubbing and several coats of paint to cover it up.. and there is no hope for the chair.. it has to go.
Walls will paint in 3 coats if they use something dark and saturated. White ceiling will need two to three times that.

The previous owner of our house smoked. It was a surprise to clean the heating vent covers and find out they were white instead of grey-ish cream.
