Being second in charge and head nurse of a medical center doesn’t pay much I guess.
Like Dana, I do think buying the boy an ice rink was a bit over the top, even in a wealthy family. Unless the rink was a nice 20 footer in the backyard for practice, then it’s OK.
Dana knew the answer to that question before she asked it.
Marcy is characteristically frugal. If one grows up with the fear/knowledge that “The Man” may take it all away, that is not atypical.
