The tortoise is having a bad couple of weeks. First Grog uses him as a skipping stone and now a spear in the shell. Dare we ask what else can happen to him?

Glance before you lance. Peer before you spear. In fact, just eye before you even try!

That’s like the New York driver that they stopped at the toll booth leaving the state he was hunting in during deer season with a dead calf strapped to his hood.

It has been put forth in highly respected scientific journals that extensive investigations made by preeminent archaeologists and anthropologists that “Hork” was actually the sound that emanated from a prehistoric spear that was chucked! It’s a fact— look it up.

John, you may want to customize that carapace with a colorful motif. One without target-like symbols?

I have sometimes thought about how difficult humanity must have been BEFORE the invention of eyeglasses. How was anything invented when most of the population couldn’t see? Think about all eyewear/contacts disappearing today? – Even just for a day. We’d be lost. I don’t think glasses were a common “thing” until around the 16th century.

Second smile today! Thanks! I really need as many as possible! We had 6 inches of rain in 24 hours due to the residue of TC ETA merging with a cold front, and now a 30drop in temp and resulting air pressure change has triggered a nasty migraine. Smiles and Maxalt help!
