I spent so many years trying to avoid/deny anxiety. It is such a HUGE relief ,now, that I find if I actually feel that anxiety fully and completely in the moment, just allow it to be for a short time, that that simple action of not denying is waaaay more effective at coming back to a balanced state; dispels it really, making it much more manageable.
