Our dog eats kibble and loves it. At 11 years, he still does his Snoopy puppy dance at meal times. He doesn;t even notice the dog food ads on TV - and won’t until there is Smell-o-vision.
The dogs don’t care about the smell on the wet or dry food in their dishes. All they do glut all of them up in a second. The cats tend to smell what the wet or dry foods are like before they eat or not. Y’all know what the difference between the dogs and cats is. lols!

You’re right it does look disgusting. But most dogs and cats love wet food.

Macush, is that why cats can so easily tell the difference between catfood brands/types even when they smell (stink) alike to the “owners”?

My dog only eats dog food if she can’t mooch and my cats expected to be fed on demand. They could be pretty demanding.
