    Smartphone -seven million times more than that of the guidance computer.

    It was more basic than the electronics in modern toasters that have computer-controlled stop/start/defrost buttons.

    I remember when computers using 286 chips were top of the line. Now those chips are used in microwave ovens.

    I am not sold on IoT (Internet of Things). Nobody really needs an oven than can be hacked remotely and burn down your house. I’m a computer programmer, not a Luddite. Security on mass-produced IoT consumer goods is generally laughable.
