My alarm-tone on my iPad is the bark. But my dogs can tell it is computer generated because they do not respond. They know the difference between the real thing and artificial. On TV if a dog appears, but the barking is not natural, they ignore it, however if any canine sounds are natural, they go bonkers. They also respond to wolves, foxes, or other wild dogs, as long as it is the real thing.
