“Checking for windy weather” wouldn’t normally be on the beer-making checklist, I’d imagine.
Why is he doing this outside, anyway? I hadn’t really been thinking too much about it earlier, but now that I am, I would think that, given how touchy brewing this stuff can be, I’d think he want to do it indoors (or at least inside the garage) where the environmental conditions can be more stable.

Why does the steam rise straight up but the grain, much heavier, blows rapidly away???
