I got a very realistic sounding phone message claiming to be my electricity provider offering a 15% discount – just “press 1 to connect to a customer service representative.” The problem was that I am not their customer for electricity service.
One security tester got his malware into a company network by dropping a CD ROM in a restroom. It was labeled “Company Salaries”. People were unable to resist checking it out.
