I’ve seen a bit of panel #2, none of #1, #3 or #4. On the other hand, the Secret Service reports 200 death threats against Obama serious enough to investigate.
Well I haven’t seen any “rightwinger” responses like the left of the last two elections who were planning on moving to Canada if the Republicans won. No reports of anthrax that I have heard in the news (panel 4) or anything nearly so destructive.
What I have heard is a Republican Party that seems relieved to get a breather and reinvent themselves while the Democrats have to bear the burden of leadership in a very difficult time. Pelosi has no excuses now for not getting her agenda through Congress…unless it is the Democrats who cannot agree.
dtriedel - That is in the Senate and they only need 60 to overturn a filibusterer, otherwise only a majority is needed. The Dems have controlled both houses for two years, but have been unable to keep their ranks together in order to pass bills. There are more seats now and fewer excuses.
(The real problem for Pelosi and Reid is that many of the Dems elected in the last two elections are very moderate and several were actually Republicans. Those folks are not likely to be easily brought on board with Pelosi-Reid more liberal agenda, but will likely follow Obama if he keeps his moderate stance.)

I just don’t seem to get it. Maybe a timed response? Like tonight I wake up and “yeah, I get it?”

Don’t forget the necessity for 60 votes in the Senate to get much of anything important done: the Democrats don’t have 60 votes.

I think reading the big book doing a little dance taking a nap and playing frankinstein will be a good way for all the republicans to relax.

Panel #3 reminds me of someone I know. It’s her drug of choice.
