    Not gonna lie: I hate it when people ask me to do tasks for them because they’re “late for something” or “you’re better at it” or any other excuse for their laziness. I guess I hate it because I don’t have the spine to refuse.

    In one of my grad business school classes (executive leadership mindsets for enterprise I think was the title), the professor made a sound point to us – that it would serve us well as leaders to work for a living as an individual contributor particularly at a lower level. Because it gives perspective of how leaders are actually perceived as opposed to how they think they are perceived.
