Right Studio, wrong ’toon!

I guess Acme has become the Wal-Mart of the toons? Or maybe the Umbrella Corporation?

Acme sells everything from soup to nuts, to…anvils!

There’s a place near Pittsburgh called Acme. I used to live in the next town. The real name is Acmetonia. There’s a Coal Miner Memorial there, right across the street from the Dam View Bar and Hotel. The Army Core of Engineering dam is across Rt. 28 and the railroad in the Allegheny River. I never saw an anvil there but plenty of accidents.

It’s funny how many people don’t get the joke behind “Acme”.

It’s tough to be a one-joke character who is also an ethnic stereotype. The French diet was driven to onions and garlic during two world wars when food was scarce. It became part of the cuisine. Those foods do change your body odor when consumed regularly.

Pepe had an overinflated opinion of himself. He always got his comeuppance in the end.

You’re confusing Pepe with Wiley.

The woke crowd is so upset about the image Pepe portrays, wonder if any of them have heard or seen two cats mating? You want to get upset, watch that.
