All those people had a hand in the making of that movie. I don’t begrudge them the credit. It’s a tradition in film, and in most performing arts, to give some form of credit to all who participated. I stay with it longer than most people, if only in the hope that there might be a few bonus bits appended to the back. Bloopers, outtakes, cut scenes, or BTS cameras. But I don’t usually last to the bitter end. However, trying to read them all and thank each one is a fool’s errand. You’ll be there for freaking ever.
Most of the time on TV the movie credits don’t just roll, they rocket past so fast that you can’t read them. Sometimes they even shrink them so they can promote the next show.
Everytime the TV show’s or old movies on TV, fly past the credits at the speed of light (or are shrunk down so they can advertise for up next, I get upset on behalf of the guests and crew.

Save all of that for an awards show. Surely, it will boost ratings!

My husband would thank you for at least staying for some. He’s a sound designer, voice over actor and now editor.
