    In my opinion, the American people are too busy thinking about themselves and going on with their lives instead of thinking of those who lost theirs either defending our country as soldiers have done and the ones who established our great country back in the Colonial days against the English monarchy.

    I “know” it isn’t a recent issue, but my belief is it has gotten worse since “anti-social” media became popular because it is all about the “me” society now. Let me “post” this and that and see who likes it. No I don’t do them, just here on Gocomics.

    America’s lack of interest in her veterans was proven when Memorial Day — which used to be celebrated on May 30th — was moved to the last Monday of the month just to give the nation another long weekend. Honor veterans, my ass!
