I wonder if Mildred counts herself among “people.”
Of course these characters are really a reflection of the author’s own philosophy, and if Olivia Jaimes is really serious about this issue, wouldn’t it mean that Jaimes would be out of a job?
Lucy has the same expression as me, reflecting on what Mildred has said.
Once again, circular logic always wins.
Lucy feels secure embracing her books, when facing narcissistic people. She has to deal of two such people in her environs.
Today’s theme song, compliments of The Marmalade:
“The changing of sunlight to moonlight
Reflections of my life
Oh, how they fill my eyes
The greetings of people in trouble
Oh, my sorrows
Sad tomorrows
Take me back to my own home
Oh, my crying (Oh, my crying)
Feel I’m dying, dying
Take me back to my own home"
Projection can be a problem.
