Jeffrey, like many BS guys, just needs a small, private haven.

I think these guys have something in common with cats. They just love a box that just fits them.

His legs look like cardboard.

“And I been workin’ like a do-og”. Which one is the cute one? The smart one?

I’d be happy with 8 naps a week.

As for The Bassets in A Hard Day’s Nap, one just runs out of superlatives. These former boys can howl like you read about. And with good reason, I might add. They’re all chasing after Cleo and her girlfriends.

We’re meeting at Anna and Jeffrey’s today, to talk about Stel’s poster on

and head on over to the BassetPlexII for a special showing of “A Hard Day’s Nap!”

You can walk or bike or drive your own car if you like… just meet us outside the theater…

We get free admission plus a small kibblecorn!

How I loved the Bassets….

I think I bought all their albums while they were together.

And this movie, while it may not seem so now, was groundbreaking in its pacing, youthful humor and irreverence.

“It’s been ♫ ♩ a hard days nap…. ♩ ♪I should ♫ be sleepin’ ♬ like a dog… ♪ ♩"

Sigh……

And why did they call themselves bugs??

I’m not sure whether Jeffrey’s coming with us….

He seems to have retreated from our gathering.

Looks like Jeffrey has set up his own voting booth.

They will be getting all sorts of awards. So many that nobody else will even attend. They already know who won. As for yesterday, I made the mistake of seeing when Ballard Street started. It was early and I hadn’t had my coffee yet. I hope that’s a good enough of an excuse. It’s the only one I have.

I watched that movie, but it was almost impossible to hear. All the girls started screaming whenever they saw Howl McBarkney.

What a delightful poster, Stel. All full of fun and promises to entertain all of us. It was a howling success at the box office, too.

More fun than the actual movie? Watching it with this C&C crowd and eating kibblecorn! Thanks for arranging the preview, Susan.
