Reminds me of a very old sci fi story I had (have?) once, the ship lands – at night – in a lonely location – it’s a highly evolved cat at the wheel. She calls all the regular housecats in the area and asks “Are the monkeys treating you good?” Wow, that’s really about all I can remember. Wish I could find that book again,or the story!
