Funny how when a person of color breaks the rules, it’s always the rule that’s stupid rather than the individual’s actions.

Sensible regulations are not the issue. The issue is two-fold: (1) outdated, unneeded regulations and (2) lock-step, rubber-stamping, work-to-rule, ignorant, dim-witted, gullible, irrational bureaucrats who would have been quite at home sending Hitler’s non-humans to the gas chambers 80+ years ago.

Follow the rules, whatever they are. If you don`t like them, don`t go to the olympics.

WADA has it listed as prohibited under “in-competition” but is allowable outside of the period window of competition. But the USADA uses language taken directly from the anti-marijuana, pro-opiate prescription drug political lobbyist playbook that claims both recreational and medicinal can be toxic and dangerous to one’s health and can be used as a performance enhancer (that’s a laugh).

This reminds me of an incident in the 1920’s when the swimmer Eleanor Holm was kicked off the Olympic swim team for drinking champagne on the ship carrying the American team to the competition.

THC is not a performance enhancing drug. It should have nothing to do with her opportunity to compete in Tokyo.
