It probably really would have said, “W.H. Smith.” Paul also would have probably had a lot of time. In England, once you check in and go through the security screening process, you wait in a lounge that has shops, food, etc., and your gate number eventually comes up on a TV monitor. If they really wanted to make it realistic, there would be at least 15 people in front of him in the check-out queue.
Ugh… my brother was at a london airport and the only thing he thought to buy was candy that was hard as a rock for my younger sister. I refused to talk to him for at least five minutes.
