I used to love the story of Bre’r Rabbit getting thrown into the briar patch. Then I found out the story was racist. Such a sad time we live in today where everything can be found offensive to one group or another.
Whitewashing history. If we don’t acknowledge it, cancel anything that was, turn our back to it now as we have grown since then…..we have learned nothing. All we are doing is putting a fresh coat of paint on it. The only way to get past it is to acknowledge that we are not a race, but a species. “What is your ethnic background?” “Why do you need to know?” “We need something to put down for our demographics.” “oohhh OK, then put down HUMAN!”
just saw ad on abc, and got me thinking, disney owns star wars and marvel…they could have Donald Duck and Goofy, SpiderMan and Rocket Racoon help out Yoda and Chewbacca in the next adventure

I thought Disney never wants to put “Song of the South” on DVD/Blu-Ray/Disney Plus!
