Now, now, this is unfair. Why, just the other day our Biden-appointed Ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, issued a “very strongly worded press statement” from the U.N. Security Council to tell the repressive Taliban it must respect women’s rights and humanitarian law.
And THAT will go on your permanent record, misters! It’s now in a secure file cabinet at UN HQ, I have the key, and I’m not afraid to use it and rub that press statement right in your faces. Metaphorically, of course, because violence is icky.
And people are calling this administration weak. Pffftt!
Maybe the Afghan military should have utilized women fighters as the Kurds have done. They would’ve probably done a better job than the males who simply laid down their arms and surrendered with nary a shot.
