It sounds like a flea soap opera. There was something similar recently in another strip I read on another site called Motley classics. Motley’s this gorgeous white cat and he had fleas talking to each other too. Then there’s Buckles, (a dog) and he has this one flea (yeah right, only one flea) that talks to him and the flea gives him good advice. Clever idea really.
