Sad that Mr. Davis had to –for those who remember that far back (or just read past-to-present Garfield comics like myself)– get rid of Odie’s original owner Lyman in 1983.
Even though my cat is indoor only, he still wears a collar … just in case he escapes over the balcony railing or out the front door when grabbing the mail. In our town, we even have to license cats now, not just dogs. Supposedly even if they are indoor cats … just in case a cat gets out and about. Sorry excuse for grabbing more money for the city.
