Bird blood-human-blood, what’s the difference Garfield?

Typically Garfield - cut and dried, cut to the chase, not cut-up etc. except cut to the quick.

You’re all heart, Garfield.

Garfield thinks Jon should be honoured to make such a sacrifice for him. He’s giving his life blood to see that Garfield gets fed. Garfield thinks he’s entitled to nothing less.

In the classic “Peanuts” strip, Charlie Brown cut his finger opening a can of food for snoopy, and when C.B. told him that same line (sort of), that made Snoopy guilty. But this is Garfield we’re talking about. All he care about is food. Guilt doesn’t affect him.

I once cut MY finger while opening a cat food can - needed 4 stitches, bled a lot AND there’s still a scar on the digit which was sliced. I also had to be administered a tenanus shot at the ER.

Boy, those were the days!

For some reason Garfield doesn’t seem to feel all that guilty. Tsk, tsk tsk. Nice try, Jon.

Hmm. Most cats would appreciate the flavor had he bled on the cat food.

They are natural preditors, after all.

I think that Garfield can get a little TOO heartless at times but not on this occasion. People cut themselves slightly all the time- Jon seems a bit wimpish to make a fuss of it.
