Actually, the person running the game stand would do her a favor if he didn’t give her anything. Maybe it would teach Heart the folly of gambling.

Because she wasn’t trying so hard she probably succeeded. In my book, the guy running the stand has done the right thing, he’s let her spend her $ and time and she’s gotten nothing she didn’t pay for. :)

This isn’t “gambling”: it’s a game of skill, as you’d know if you ever watched a professional ball player wipe out the prize cache. (I’d lose worse than Heart.)
