We bought a house from a family who moved across town who apparently were owned by a cat. (We had not seen him while looking at the house, but I had found an abandoned litter box in the basement when we moved in, so I threw it out.) A few days later, there was a cat, sitting on our doorstep, screeching, obviously wanting in. After trying to avoid him for a while, one of us let him in. (I won’t say who did it, since it was me.) He raced throughout the house looking in all the rooms winding up in the basement. (Wouldn’t you wind down in a basement? I guess you would, if it was your mancave,) I, of course, had been following him. He turned, glared at me, went back to the front door, and waited for me to let him out. He never came back.
Hey, Lennie? When did this story run? I don’t remember seeing it before – and the “rubbed” spots make me wonder if it’s a “new” old story that you never got to run before?

We leave a cat carrier with the door off for the cats to play in
They won’t like traveling in it if we need to move them, but they won’t be afraid to get in it

You should probably have scars. At least you would if you tried to cage our cats.

Ooh, that angry Ginger in panel 3 is a good one! This is going to cost Cartoon Boy lots of extra kitty treats…

Great look on Ginger’s face in the last panel.

My cats don’t mind getting in the carrier. But one cat becomes very upset if we drive towards the vet (she knows the road to the office!)
