Paige: Open your mouth and I'll throw in a popcorn kernel. Oh, darn, I missed. Jason: Keep trying. Paige: What movie did you rent? Peter: It's the tragic tale of a young man's futile quest for greatness. Followed by his equally fruitless quest for semi-greatness. Despite his best efforts, however, even paltry mediocrity seems well beyong his grasp. Eventually, with his hope and optimism crushed and battered, he accepts that for him, there will be no happy ending. As he approaches the cash register, a lone tear runs down his cheek. Paige: I take it the tragic tale is of you at the video store. Peter: Sheesh - have you ever tried renting something this late on a Saturday?! Jason: I didn't know Richard Simmons acted.

This comic isn’t dated at all!
Actually now that I think about it, you could just replace the rental store with a Redbox kiosk that people have checked all the good stuff out of.
