When I was a kid, Sundays were special occasions because of the several pages of full color comics, or funnies as we used to call them. But what I could never understand was why there were the also those such as Prince Valiant that weren’t the least bit funny. A lot of years have passed since then but I still don’t get it.

I remember that the Prince Val exposition could seem to go on for weeks. It was a beautifully drawn/not much happening strip.
