I hated what they did with the story line in season 8. So much that I am now on a rewatch of the whole series on DVD, weaving in the “good” (Doggett) episodes before the middle of season 6. I will end with the only black and white episode (hint, season 5) which says you can rewrite the story.
Season 9 maybe someday, not the “mini-series” seasons from later. Whew.
