My mother did that to me but we were still living in her house. If she’d come to my house to live I would absolutely not have put up with it. I had no choice while I lived in her house (and she constantly reminded me that it was her house!) but in mine? No, mommy dearest, you will live with MY rules! You will NOT smoke in MY house!
