I think people with degrees in such subjects as ‘Art History’, or ‘Medieval Poetry’ should also be Required to take a course in one of the trades, or Secretarial Skills, so as to be both employable (and at least Somewhat useful), before they can graduate. Subjects like that might be Hugely interesting from a Personal perspective- but are basically useless out in the ‘real world’. Take them as a hobby, if you wish- but do Not expect they will Ever provide you with a living. A Miniscule percentage will find positions as teachers/professors, true- but it is such a negligible number as to be statistically insignificant.

Don’t forget they want us skilled people who have jobs to pay for that worthless degree.

College is for learning how to learn and learning that the world is a much bigger and more complicated place than the comments you find in your favorite website. I have degrees in Physics and Chemistry; I never worked in either field. However, I learned how to learn so well I had careers as an electronics technician, electronics engineer, software developer, and comedy writer. Trade school for a specific trade would NOT have made me that adaptable.

If she isn’t acting in all the scenarios we’ve seen Sam is really in big trouble. It’d mean she is a natural self centred b17ch
