I don’t think he’s opposed to Liz having a vegetable garden. I think Sam is opposed to being the one who has to tend it.
My mom never got to ‘harvest’ anything from her garden. We kids would pull the baby carrots and the strawberries never seems to be there.
You can’t grow steaks in a vegetable garden. How big is the cow barn going to be and who is running the skid loader?
Liz can have her garden if if doesn’t include forced labor (or zucchini) for others.
